Our preferred provider organization, or PPO, plans give your employees access to Blue Cross Blue Shield's extensive PPO network of doctors, hospitals and health care professionals. Employees will be able to choose from more than 80 percent of the doctors and 90 percent of the hospitals in the United States. In Michigan, the access is even greater. Our health maintenance organization, or HMO, plans from Blue Care Network can offer your company a cost-effective way to manage employee health care. With these plans, employees choose a primary care physician to manage their medical care. Our network includes more than 4,800 primary care physicians — family doctors, internists and pediatricians — more than 14,000 specialists and most of the state's leading hospitals. Members also have access to care nationwide when traveling. BCN Advantage℠ has a network with 80 hospitals and more than 3,000 PCPs and more than 8,500 specialists in its 31-county service area.Healthy Blue Living℠
This wellness-based plan offers incentives, such as lower out-of-pocket costs, to employees who commit to working toward certain health measures.
Healthy Blue HMO HRA℠
You customize this plan by selecting a deductible that's appropriate for your group. You contribute pretax funds into a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) to cover employee health care costs.
Blue Care Network HMO HSA℠
This plan combines a high-deductible health insurance plan with a health savings account (HSA). The HSA account gives employees control of pretax dollars to pay for health care expenses.
BCN Advantage HMO-POS℠
This plan replaces Medicare coverage with comprehensive HMO coverage. Employees can add Part D prescription drug coverage or one of our commercial prescription drug plans.
Blue Elect Plus℠
This plan lets employees see any doctor, including those out of network. Their choice affects their out-of-pocket costs.
This plan’s foundation is preventive, routine, urgent and emergency care. Our deductible plan options have comprehensive coverage at a lower premium cost. You can customize the plan by choosing a deductible that's right for your group.
